Around 3400 institutional libraries are involved in Sudoc network activities. The « Library List » has all the information necessary for their identification and location, and for using the service they offer (such as address, opening hours, specialities, etc.)
You can directly access this list in order to :
 List all the libraries in a city or a Department, or limit your search to a particular type of institution (such as University Libraries, Resource Centres, etc.)
Search for a specific institution using its name or indentification number : the RCR number (which has 9 digits of which the first two are the Department number)
Identify the institution which best suits you (by its proximity, its type, or its specialities) to consult documents there or to enrol yourself there : you can then, working from your computer, make loan or document photocopying requests for the documents you have selected.
